Mightyzod May possibly Own a Yamaha Enduro?

Default Another Newbie

I haven't been called a newbie at anything for quite a while. I recently purchased a 1972 125 Enduro (AT-2?) and the next think I knew, I had a 1972 CT and a couple of DT1s. I am in the process of putting the 125 together. I am clutch plates, chain and sprockets away from being able to ride it regularly. Having trouble figuring out how to get the left outside case off to get to the sprocket. Any tips?
I hope to learn and share much with the riders on this forum.

I love working on, riding, driving, racing, cars, motorcycles, all things motorsports.

Around 1975, when I was 14 y/o and my dad bought me a 1974 DT 125 Brandy Red, Enduro, cost around $125 used. I really liked the bike. A few years later, it got sold. That bike reminds me of good times w/my dad who has now passed on. I also appreciate the simplistic mechanical design and vintage bikes now.

Decades later, I found the same exact bike in perfect condition and it looks like I'm going to get another one tomorrow!! Glad to see a site dedicated to the Enduro and I look forward to getting tech and/help from the site

Default New guy here

I have old cars. I'm restoring a 1965 hemi powered altered dragster. etc. etc. ... you know how it goes.

Had dirt bikes as a kid (70-80's). Now I would like to putt around on a vintage MX... so I came across a 74 MX250. My other bike is a 68 BSA 441 Victor done up in scrambler style.

Thank you much

Default Intro

Had a '73 DT250 as a teenager. In the process of getting a '76 DT400 to restore. Looking to relive some old memories.
