Mailman just showed up. This black box looks like an actual CDI! I am all excited. Can't wait to get out in the garage and try it out. Thanks for all the help fellas.

Victory! Grabbed the new CDI, connected the wires to matching colors and plenty of spark. Case closed. Thanks guys!

Future ignition troubleshooting guide suggestion:

If you have no spark:

1. Make sure you are not an idiot who tried to use an ignition logic box as a CDI. If you are such a person, get an actual CDI and install it.
2. If that doesn't work then go through the normal troubleshooting procedures.
