Default At-1 Ct-1

From what I understand now, an AT-1 head will not work on a CT-175 ? Is that due to compression issues, head sealing/gasket issues or bolt pattern? Thanks in advance

The main reason is that the bore size is different: 56 vs 66, according to Wikipedia...

You will find a lot of sellers in ebay advertising pistons, rings, cylinders, and heads as "fits AT, CT, DT," etc. Must beware!

Thanks for the input. So it will bolt on, but machining of the combustion chamber would be necessary for gasket seal and compression?

You need to do a complete 175 conversion. You need a jug - you need the head - you need the 175 head gasket and base gasket. You should get a new needle bearing and perhaps additional exhaust components. I have an extra one that is ported .. The complete set bead blasted cost me $200 in labor $100 in parts and I already had the jug and head. I'm selling the entire unit for 500 bucks ready to bolt on. Everything that was mentioned. I'll even cover the shipping.

Here is what you need bidding if yours is a reed valve. I believe lha can verify that the 74 will fit the reed at/ct 2. You can watch it and see where it goes.

Be forewarned that if doing a CT1 conversion you will need to the correct piston pin/needle bearing to match the CT piston, even though the con. rod small end inside bore is the same for ATs and CTs.
