Raise the cylinder up for clearance. Enduronut. I think I personally may have solved one of your puzzles. I am 1 for 10.

Found this e-bay gasket with part no. No luck at Yamaha motor. Seems to fit my bike and many others. If the others include your carb I can send you my bowl to check fitment on your bike.

Thanks dt400man.

I did a Gasket part # search on Partzilla. All but 3 are same as what I have. 3 years on YR1/2/2C have different bowls. However the float system appears different.

Thanks for your input,

Rick

Ever looked into some of the OKO carburetors? Flat slide carb. Some people have a love hate relationship with them but supposedly when they're tuned correctly they work really well. They have quite a few size offerings but none in flange mount, probably have to use a rubber mounting flange spacer. Good luck trying to find the ATMX carburetor, I've been looking for one myself. I'll keep my eyes open.

Thanks Ian,

Flat slide carburetor's are a no-no for AHRMA.
