rlukes May possibly Own a Yamaha Enduro?

Default New member bought a DT100 in pieces and hoping to assemble

I recently bought a 1974 DT100 which was disassembled down to the frame, engine, wheels and two large cardboard boxes. I have an RT100G to help me figure out how to put it together. Hoping to find some repair tips in these forums.

Cheers!

Default I miss my old RT3...

Gotta have another one some day. I'm watching Craigslist for one to come by that isn't trashed and isn't $5000

I have a KLR now, and it's a good bike in so many ways, but I miss the sound, the light weight (the KLR is a hoss), and I miss kick starting!

I think the technology is here to make an acceptably clean and efficient 2-stroke. computerized engine management, I think, could make it "cool" again. I wish Yamaha would jump in with just that magic!

Enduro newbie. Just aquired a 1973 CT 3 175 for cheap with all original parts. It doesnt currently run but heard it did 2 years ago. Front wheel is also frozen. Will be looking forward to needed information on this site for restoration info.

Default Another new member

Like the member above, I grew up riding a Hodaka (ACE 100 though) as my first bike then moved to a DT3. That was over 30 years ago. I recently acquired an identical DT3 to mess around with and possibly restore.

all the posts about timing it properly and wearing boots when kicking it through. Otherwise, you may be posting pictures of your bruised, sprained ankles like someone we know in the great Northwest!

Default just picked up a 77 DT125 E (i think)

Picked up a barn fresh Yammer the tag is as faded as can be. Best I can tell is that its a 77 dt125 e. It has the monoshock and original color was neon green.

don't have a enduro yet, they're still a few things I'd like to learn first.
