Nice bike. Did you restore it or buy it that way?

Default Greetings

Greetings from Ohio also! Here I am back to the Yamahas I always loved. Recently I have agreed to get a couple DT-1 250 enduros up and running for a pal of mine. The rewards should be great, I get one of them! Anyway, this seemed to be The Place for info on these cool little bikes. Hope to source some parts and info!

Rick,

Can you tell me why my Yamaha Enduro has 5 speeds and no reverse > ?

Default New to YamahaEnduro.com

Hey everyone. New to the site. Found this as I was looking for information on the 2 1974 DT250's I am restoring. One is planned to be a vintage racer / play bike and the other will be a full restore. The full restore is the bike my dad bought new in 1974. I have been riding DT's since I was about 12 and have restored 4 of them since. Looking forward to all of the great information on this site.

Dug a 73 AT3 out of a barn and immediately looked for a forum and here I am. Could use some help finding an air intake tube or advice on using a K&N air filter.

I'm Dave, 29 y/o Diesel mechanic from Roosevelt Utah, Recently dug my old 72 Yamaha 175 out of my dads back yard looking for a good base of information about restoring this old girl, and possible links to parts and supplies.

Thanks

I bought two 78 DT 400's last summer. The parts bike is no more and here's a picture of what has come. I'm having some minor problems, (Leaks, electrical issues, unreliability). I've come for gui.

Hello all!! I am a 50 year old vintage motorcycle enthusiast trying to buy/ride back my youth!! My passion lies in vintage small cc motorcycles. My first bike was a 1976 Yamaha MX175. I have owned all kinds of motorcycles over the years, but now I love the hunt for a vintage beast from the 60's or 70's, mainly Japanese, but I do own a Harley Davidison SX175 Aermacchi 2 stroke enduro. I enjoy taking these bikes and getting them back on the road. From soap and water restores all the way to complete custom builds. I will usually have 3 to 10 bikes around at any given time. This forum looks like a great place to continue my education. Thanks for your time! Mike
