Babz May possibly Own a Yamaha Enduro?

Default

Hello and Happy New Year from Bend Oregon. Happy to find this forum, lots of great info here! Just purchased a 1969 Yamaha AT1 from a great guy who restores older Yamaha's, she is a beauty! Been years since I've ridden a "real" bike...I also have a Buddy Scooter. My first mode of transportation was a Yamaha 110 street bike so I'm sure it won't take long. Lots of forest roads and trails close to home, my man and I plan to ride and fish our way around this area, he is restoring a 1976 Kawasaki KE 175.

Cheers!

Default New Old Boy

Hi Guys,

I am an old fan of the Yammie two strokes since my young days, but have only just started to get into restoration as my wife believes I need a project.
anyway im building up A DT1 250, A DT250A and a DT250B.

Boy do i have some projects now, LOL, they will need lots of parts and lots of love.

I live in Redcliffe, Queensland and would like to hear from others in Queensland and see if we can start a network with spare parts and info.

My first bike in 1982 was a DT100 and Iím in the process of buying a DT250. Itís in the UK but was previously imported from the US. All going well it should be delivered next week. It was advertised as a 1972 DT1 but according to your list of VIN numbers itís a Ď73 DT3, so joining your forum has paid off already, so thanks!

What part of the volunteer state. I think that is where Rick gets his special sauce.
73 175 is one of my favorites, that swoosh stripe makes me feel manly. R. C. is right, lots of help here and love for two stroke smoke!
